A company that operates unlicensed in the security industry faces penalties of up to:
- $275 000 fine for the first offence
- $385 000 fine for the second offence
- $550 000 fine for the third offence.
Anyone who hires an unlicensed security provider faces penalties of up to:
- $55 000 fine for the first offence
- $77 000 fine or six months imprisonment for the second offence
- $110 000 fine or 18 months imprisonment for the third offence.
