The Land Sales Act 1984 regulates the sale of proposed subdivisions of land and proposed lots in a community titles scheme.

A review of the Land Sales Act 1984 is being undertaken because:

These factors, combined with the Queensland Government´s obligations under the National Competition Policy (NCP), indicate that a review of the Act would be timely.

The Queensland Government is seeking public input on any subject in the Discussion Paper. You are encouraged to respond to the specific questions posed in each section highlighted in blue. You are also welcome to raise any issues which you consider are relevant to the review. Submissions closed on 24 December 2010.
