For real estate agents

You must show us documentary evidence of your intended place of business, before we can give you an individual or corporate real estate licence.

Who can be in charge?

Your premises must have a licensed real estate agent in charge.

An individual cannot be in charge of more than one place of business, except where the businesses are physically attached to each other.

If you are an individual and principal licensee, you must be in charge of the business at your registered office. If you have more than one office, you must ensure that another licensed real estate agent is in charge of the business at the other location.

If you are an agent with a corporate licence, you must ensure that a licensed agent is in charge at each of your registered offices.

Changing premises

If you change your place of business, you must notify us within 14 days of the change.
