Livestock agents can enter into a continuing agreement for ´del credere´ arrangements on behalf of a seller without obtaining a new agreement for each sale.
A ´del credere´ arrangement is where a livestock agent accepts an appointment on the basis that they guarantee to pay the sale's proceeds to the seller, regardless of whether or not the buyer pays the proceeds.
