Goods received but not ordered |
If you receive goods that you did not purchase or order, you do not have to pay for them.
When goods arrive unsolicited, you can write a letter to the supplier saying that you received unsolicited goods. Ask the supplier to collect the goods. The supplier has one month to collect the goods. If they don’t do so, you can keep them without paying for them.
If you don’t write to the supplier, they have three months to collect the goods from you. If they don’t collect the goods after three months, you can keep them without paying for them.
If you don't want the goods, you must keep them in good condition and make them reasonably available for collection by the supplier.
