Car jacks are involved in an unacceptable number of deaths and injuries to Australians each year. Over the last ten years, at least 46 people have been crushed and killed while working under a car. On average, 160 serious injuries are associated with car jacks every year. These injuries range from amputation to fractures and crush injuries.

Don't be a jackass - an anti-manual for using a car jack is a three minute film about the dangers involved with DIY car maintenance highlighting specifically the safe use of car jacks.
